Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Hehar Chiropractic more affordable than other clinics?
It can be hard to find a good therapist at a reasonable price. Sometimes they'll be good but charge hundreds of dollars for a single session. Other times they may be more affordable but don't provide quality care. I've seen too many people who decide to live with the pain because they believe that therapy would cost too much. I've seen others who seek care with random unlicensed therapists who end up hurting them more than helping.
My goal is to make high-quality, research-backed care accessible to everyone.
This clinic is a single room located within my Brampton home. There are no room lease fees, no receptionists, no accountants. The rates are the same regardless of whether you have insurance or not. There is no reason for me to be charging more than what I am.
By minimizing overhead in a home-based clinic, I am able to provide my services at an affordable rate, while still delivering exceptional care.
What can a chiropractor treat?
If it involves a muscle or a joint, we can work on it! A common misconception is that chiropractors only work on the spine.
Regardless of whether it is your shoulder, knees, hips, or spine, I can treat it and get you feeling better.
What does a treatment look like?
Well that depends. No two patients are exactly the same, which means no two treatments will be exactly the same. The treatment you will receive will be tailored to your specific needs and health goals
On your first visit, an initial examination will be done where we determine the root cause of your problem. Once that is done, we will create a treatment plan together to address your needs. The plan will include evidence‑based care that reduces total number of visits needed.
Treatment can include the following:
Manipulations/Mobilizations
Cupping/Dynamic Cupping
Graston/Scraping
Myofascial Release Therapy/ART
Acupuncture/IMS
Ultrasound/IFC/TENS
Physical Rehab/Exercises
What I do NOT do, is leave you on a machine for 15 minutes and call that therapy. I do NOT only crack your back and send you out the door in 30 seconds. It takes more than that to fix a problem.
I only see patients one at a time and I am a big believer of hands on care. For majority of the 30 minute treatment, I will be using my hands and performing manual hands-on therapy to treat your issues.
How long is a treatment session?
Each session is a minimum of 30 minutes. Majority of the time will be spent providing hands-on care.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Direct billing is also available to most insurance companies.
If direct billing is not available to your company, you can pay upfront and submit the invoice to your insurance company so that they can reimburse you.
WSIB cases are also accepted if you have a claim number.
The fees are the same regardless of whether you pay with cash or through your insurance.
Where is the clinic located?
The address is 15 Rembrandt Cres, Brampton ON, L6Y 3V5.
There are no walk-ins, it is by appointment only.
The clinic is accessed through the side door located on the right side of the house. The door opens directly into the clinic room.
Is there parking available?
There is free street parking. If there is space on the driveway, feel free to park there as well.
